Oral Presentation

Full and short presentations both receive oral presentations.
  • Full papers are allocated 25 minutes: 20 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for questions.
  • Short papers are allocated 12 minutes for the presentation.
  • The lecture theatre has a Windows machine with Power Point installed. To minimise switch-over time, we would ask presenters to place slides on the machine before their session starts.
  • Each session will have a session chair who will contact you for a short biography.

Display Posters (For accepted posters):

Posters should be no larger than 3' (width) x 4' (height) and the orientation of the poster will be portrait. The poster template, fonts, and content are left to the discretion of the author(s).

Camera Ready Submission

STEP 1: Important dates

  • At least one author per paper must pay the early registration fee by 20th May.
    • One registration per paper is required for the publication of your paper.
    • Failure to register will result in your paper being removed from the proceedings.
  • Final camera-ready manuscripts must be submitted by 20th May.

STEP 2: Page Limits

Your final paper must follow the page limits listed in the following table:

Full papers are allowed to include 2 extra pages at an additional charge of £70 (~100USD) per page. Short papers are allowed to include 1 extra pages at an additional charge of £70 (~100USD) per page. Posters are not allowed to include any extra pages. Extra pages should be purchased via the registration page.

STEP 3: Formatting Your Paper

  • Submitted abstracts should not exceed 200 words.
  • Final submissions should use the two-column IEEE conference proceedings format, and must be submitted as a PDF.
  • Templates for Microsoft Word and LaTeX can be downloaded here.
  • Please do not include headers/footers or page numbers in the final submission.

STEP 4: Submitting your final version

  • Once the format of your paper has been verified, you may submit your final version
  • All papers should be submitted using the Proceedings system via EasyChair
  • Please, enter the following information exactly as appeared on your paper: names of authors, affiliations, countries, E-mail addresses, titles and abstracts

STEP 5: Submitting a Signed Copyright Release Form

  • ASAP 2016 requires users to submit a fully digital version of the IEEE Copyright Release Form
  • Download, print, and fill-out the IEEE Copyright Release Form, including:
    1. Paper's full title
    2. All author names
    3. Conference title: 2016 IEEE 27th International Conference on Application-specific Systems, Architectures and Processors (ASAP)
    4. Signature (on appropriate line)
  • Rename the file to asap2016_eCF_PaperID.pdf, where "PaperID" is your paper ID number
  • The signed IEEE Copyright Release Form should be sent to the Publications Chair by 20th May, 2016:
    1. Scan the form
    2. Send the form with a message subject "ASAP 2016 - IEEE Copyright Release Form - PaperID" to: josh.levine05@imperial.ac.uk
